This letter is in response to last week’s article regarding Lyme disease in dogs and cats. We found the article to contain misinformation regarding the prevalence and transmission of the disease. We are in the process of composing an article with more specific information. We at Malibu Coast Animal Hospital stress the need for tick prevention and control.
