John Clark Gable, who was arrested for DUI after a multi-vehicle hit-and-run crash Tuesday, says he was not under the influence of alcohol during the crash.

John Clark Gable has denied allegations that he was under the influence of alcohol when he allegedly crashed into multiple cars and caused a car to crash into a home Tuesday afternoon, resulting in a DUI arrest. Gable told TMZ Wednesday he lost consciousness prior to the series of accidents, which may have been related to two brain aneurysms he had in the past, but that he was not drunk.

Gable, the son of famed actor Clark Gable, said all he remembers is getting cut off by a van and then waking up after the crash. He told TMZ he was not drinking and that the only medication he is on is for a minor leg injury.

Gable’s blood alcohol level was taken at the scene of the crash. The results have not been released.

On Tuesday afternoon, Gable was arrested in Malibu on suspicion of driving under the influence at a house near Pacific Coast Highway and Rambla Pacifico after allegedly colliding with seven cars on a hit-and-run spree which ended when he caused a car to collide with a home.

Gable was booked at the Malibu/Lost Hills Station for misdemeanor hit-and-run and suspicion of DUI, officials said. He posted $15,000 bail late Tuesday night.
