A New York City resident bought this Mint Julep for more than $22,000 in an online charity auction. The 24-karat gold-plated cup bearing the name and face of the late Kentucky Derby champion Barbaro is adorned with a diamond and conatains ice from the Bavarian Alps, mint from the coast of Ireland, organic sugar from Queensland, Australia and Woodford Reserve bourbon.
