Teachers at schools across Malibu are preparing for a fresh crop of young students to arrive for the 2018-19 school year. From bulletin board decorating to craft supply sorting, teachers and administrators have been hard at work making sure this school year will be the best one yet.
The Malibu Times took a sneak peek at what’s going on this week at Juan Cabrillo Elementary School, just in time for classes to begin on Thursday, Aug. 23.Â
On Tuesday afternoon, the school welcomed kindergarten families for a meet-and-greet before the start of class. It was a sweet success, thanks to snow cones by Kona Ice.
