It’s just amazing what one inspired person can do. We now have a paved bus stop, with a bench, on the ocean side at PCH and Coastline Drive. Why? I simply wrote a letter to the state agency responsible for enforcing the American Disability Act (ADA), requesting a compliant bus stop, and followed up with phone calls and emails.
OK, it took two years. But, it happened. So if you have the time and energy, you too can get the bureaucracy to do something constructive.
