Start prepping your pets — a privately funded fireworks show is set to light up the Malibu night sky on Saturday.
The L.A. County Fire Department issued a permit for a private party to launch a fireworks display from a barge off the Puerco Canyon/Malibu Road coastal area.
“The display is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM, [and] may start any time between 8:30-9:30 p.m. All fireworks displays must conclude no later than 10:00 p.m.,” according to the City of Malibu.
