Malibu Library visitors learned to cook holiday delicacies with vegetarian chefs Zel and Reuben Allen at Dec. 12’s vegan holiday cooking class.
Zel began the class with a brief lecture about ingredients for plant-based vegan food and the health benefits of a vegan lifestyle. The group then dispersed into cooking stations to make holiday dishes.
Menu items included Yin Yang nutty bean spread, cane salad, persimmon cranberry chutney, cranberry almond mousse and more.
