    From martial arts to wild animals, this weekend figures to be a busy one in Malibu.

    Saturday

    Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Point Dume Marine Elementary School hosts the World Tai Chi Qi Gong Day, which gives people the opportunity to learn from experienced martial arts teachers as they show students the practice for free. Make sure to bring a dish to share for the potluck afterwards.

    Sunday

    In the morning at 10:30 a.m., families that have members with special needs are invited to come to a private ranch and groom horses, pet pigs, feed alpaca and even come take a donkey for a walk. Families must RSVP at info@ELSAinc.org to get more details.

    From noon to 4, the California Wildlife Center will be hosting its annual Spring Open House, with behind-the-scenes tours, wildlife education, children’s activities and up-close encounters with rescued animals. To rsvp email victoria@cawildlife.org or 818-222-2658.

    The Malibu Coast Animal Hospital will be celebrating the re-launch of their hospital at 2 p.m with Woofstock, which benefits Healthcare for Homeless Animals (formerly Malibu Pet Companions).
