Little Beach House Malibu presents the 18th Malibu Film Festival on Jan. 13-14 at the Civic Theater. The film festival begins with Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin hosting the opening film “Unchained: The History of Freestyle Motocross” at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13. A Q&A panel with cast and filmmakers will follow the screening.
From 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., a curated collection of independent films from various filmmakers—including Malibuites—will screen.
On Sunday, Jan. 14, the Little Beach House will host and present awards from 7-9 p.m.
Prices are as follows: $10 for the opening film, $10 for each screenings, $25 for a film pass and $10 for the closing film. The awards cost $50 for members and $75 for non-members. An all-access pass will also be available for $100.
