And this just sprung up …

The city announced yesterday that … in one week … the City and the County will host an informational workshop … to unveil a whole slate of road improvements planned for Malibu and the Santa Monica Mountains area.

We’d love to give you details on -what- exactly they city and county are asking you to comment on … but those details have not yet been provided.

The list of projects includes …  parking and walkway improvements on Westward Beach Road.

We assume that means the angle parking that city council members have discussed.

New parking lots ….but just where … not revealed.

Improvements on Malibu Canyon Road … but just what and where … we could not find out.

Median improvements to P C H …. again … what that means we do not know.

There is also an item called “Malibu Canyon Road Bridge Widening” … we’ll take a wild guess and assume that means the bridge over Malibu Creek near Piuma Road.

As soon as the city announced the meeting  … we asked for details.

The city is working on our request.

The informational workshop  … in six days … at City Hall.
