Christopher Parkening’s classical guitar students and brothers Wesley and Alexander Park performed during a recital at the Malibu Public Library last Friday afternoon. The performance featured masterpieces from classical guitar literature, spanning multiple centuries from composers around the world.
The crowd that had gathered at the library was welcomed by Pepperdine ensemble coach and guitar instructor Taso Comanescu.Â
The performance, which was part of the Mary Pickford-Stotsenberg Performances, followed a recital by the Park brothers at Payson Library earlier last week. Wesley is a sophomore at Pepperdine and Alexander is a senior.
