From left: Trish Burr, Maureen Solheim, Marjie Hollinrake and Jenny Young were introduced on Oct. 6 as new members at the Malibu chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s first fall meeting and luncheon. Regent Patti Scroggins introduced them and some prospect new members at the event, which took place at Malibu Methodist Church. The business meeting was followed by the day’s speaker, D.T. Parker, who did a lecture in the persona of President James Madison. He spoke about the Madison era, covering many of the historical and interesting events of the time.
