Jeff Baker is the associate clinical professor of law and assistant dean of clinical education and global programs at the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. An active member of the Malibu community, Baker has tirelessly helped the community in the aftermath of the 2018 Woolsey Fire.
Chelsea Audibert, Baker’s nominator, described him as “one of the most passionate people” she has met in the Malibu community.
“He takes great pride in being an active member of the Malibu community as an educator, advocate and father. He used his position and resources with the clinical law program at Pepperdine to mobilize volunteer lawyers in the immediate aftermath of the fires. His efforts have been tireless,” Audibert said in her nomination of Baker.
According to Audibert, Baker’s “highest level of moral character” and “down-to-earth” personality make him a great candidate for a Dolphin Award.
Baker and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters who currently attend Malibu High School. In addition to his professional work and time as a father and husband, Baker recently published a book, titled “Haven,” about two sisters displaced by war.
