Our Lady of Malibu School fifth graders took advantage of a sunny day before holiday break to paint outdoors in the style of Impressionist painter Claude Monet.
Students took their easels to the top of the driveway outside the school art studio for the best ocean and mountain views. They achieved the feel of impressionistic paintings by applying small dots of paint instead of using brush strokes.
