MSAR Makes Calabasas Rescue Saturday

Rescue personnel assist a 30-year-old motorcyclist in Calabasas.

The Malibu Search and Rescue Team responded to an incident in which a man in his 30s rode his motorcycle over the side of the road into brush on Dry Canyon Cold Creek Road in Calabasas last Saturday, April 13. The rescue involved a number of agencies, including the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station and the LA County Fire Department as well as the fire department’s air operations unit.

According to a social media post, the man was “raised topside” and later airlifted to a UCLA trauma center. He suffered from a broken femur.
