Thirteen people were arrested during Friday night’s DUI checkpoint in Malibu, according to Lt. Patrick Mathers of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station. None of the arrests were for suspicion of DUI.

The DUI and driver’s license checkpoint was held Friday night from 7:30 p.m. until 3:30 a.m. at Pacific Coast Highway and John Tyler Drive. Mathers said six were arrested for driving without a license, and another two for outstanding warrants. Seven cars were impounded. Sheiff’s officials said 1,112 vehicles were screened at the checkpoint.
