Malibu-based nonprofit American Tortoise Rescue announced sad news this week, reporting that beloved rescue turtle Ruby 3 had died.
Ruby 3, a rescued leaf turtle, died on Sunday, Nov. 12. Ruby was the third in a family of rescued leaf turtles, including Ruby 1 and 2, according to Malibu’s American Tortoise Rescue. Ruby 1 and 2 resided at the sanctuary for over 20 years.
