The Urban Library Council recently appointed Los Angeles County Library Director Skye Patrick to its executive board, “the premier membership association of North America’s leading public library systems.”
Patrick was appointed LA County Library Director in February 2016. Prior to that, Patrick served as Broward County Library’s director. Patrick’s focus at LA County Library is removing barriers and increasing access to information and services for all local residents, while simultaneously bringing one of the largest library systems in the U.S. into the digital age.
