– The men’s tennis team, which is ranked ninth, will compete in the NCAA Championships in Palo Alto May 19-30.
– The baseball team won one and lost two of their games against the University of San Diego Toreros last week. The Toreros won the first two games 13-3 and 4-0 and the Waves won the third game 11-10 in San Diego.
– The men’s volleyball team, currently ranked 13th, won its two most recent games, both played in Malibu. The team defeated the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos 3-0 April 14 and the UCLA Bruins 3-1 April 16.
– The women’s golf team, which is ranked 15th, will compete in the NCAA Regionals May 5-7.
– The women’s tennis team, ranked 28th, earned a win over the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Mustangs 5-2 in Malibu April 8 and then suffered a loss to the UCLA Bruins 4-3 at home April 13. The team will compete in the WCC Championship April 21-23 in San Diego.
– The men’s golf team, ranked number 41, placed seventh in the ASU Thunderbird Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. April 9-10. The team competes in the WCC Championships April 18-19 in Hollister, Calif.
