Which bright county and state officials thought that posting 18 new “Share the Road” signs in Malibu would have an effect other than making a beautiful beach city look ugly and cluttered. It is a stupid slogan, to say the least. Share the road with what? The prostitute who hangs out on PCH at Morningview and the 76 station? Homeless people? Drunks? We live on a freeway. We should not have to share the road with anyone except other fast moving cars. It is not safe for bicycles, nor for the drivers who try to avoid them. There are bike paths in Venice and Santa Monica. Those are safe. PCH is not.
