The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America recognized the Waves women’s swimming and diving team early last week. The team was given Scholar All-America team status.
To qualify for the honor, all members of a team must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The women’s team collectively had a 3.24 GPA over the 2018 spring semester.
This is the seventh straight semester of academic recognition for the Waves. Nationwide, 710 teams received the accolade across multiple divisions this year.
