Well, we all got stuck in the traffic on PCH and and saw video of the plane landing on the freeway yesterday … over the hill.
A single-engine airplane crash-landed and burned on the 101m freeway at Liberty Canyon Road.
A critical pinch point.
Only a little frontage road … Agoura Road … ione lane in either direction.
The only other links are Highway 126 thru Simi Valley … and Pacidfic Coast Highway.
Tarffic was clogged on PCH and the canyon roads all afternoon.
The wreckage was cleared at about 6 last night.
No vehicles were involved in the crash.
The aircraft … a vintage U S Air Force propeller plane from World War 2 with World War II-era German air force markings.
The crash snarled traffic on U.S. 101, a major California highway.

A fatal car jacking just over the hill. in the Valley last night.
A man was shot and killed just off the 101 Freeway at Fallbrook Avenue.
His car … a dark-colored newer model Dodge Challenger . was stolen by the gunman.
LAPD found the car abandoned nearby in West Hills.
Police are actively looking for the suspect, who is described as ahispanic inches, wearing a black jacket and dark pants that may be jeans.
Someone picked him up and sped off in grey Mercedes with hard top.

A big blue flash scared residents in Calabasas two nights ago.
We normally don’t report on such mundane incidents over the hill … but this one scared residents of upper Malibu Canyon … near last June’s murder.
A doorbell cam caught a big blue flash … over the hills near Las Virgenes at Lost Hills Road.
The sheriff’s department put out a press release.
County fire … the Southern California Edison … and the two sewage plants out here all said they had no reports of power failures or fires.
We suppose it could have been a bird hitting power lines … or some other power blip.
Who knows.
