Human remains were discovered at the intersection of Latigo Canyon and Calicut roads in Malibu late in the afternoon yesterday, Jan. 21.
According to an alert sent Tuesday morning, Jan. 22, from the LA County Sheriff’s Department, investigators with the LA County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau and the Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office “waited to respond until sufficient daylight was available for the investigation.”
Information as to the individual’s gender or identity are still unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
