The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD) Board of Education will host a special meeting on Thursday, Jan. 7, according to a SMMUSD press release.
The meeting will serve as a Board of Education/Executive cabinet retreat, during which a facilitator will work with the board and Executive Cabinet to discuss leadership team practices and effective governance procedures. Cabinet retreats are standard throughout the duration of a school year.
The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. at the district office located at 1651 16th Street in Santa Monica. An agenda will be posted at smmusd.org.
