I am writing to give my support to Laureen Sills for city council.
I can speak on behalf of Malibu parents with children who have special needs and how she has worked tirelessly to make sure our families have the support that we need in school, in the community and in our homes.
She was appointed to the State Board of Special Education and spent years traveling to Sacramento, giving her the experience of taking our local issues to a state level. I have also witnessed so many concrete results of the many causes she has championed over the past 30 years living in Malibu and serving our community. Anyone can look them up — it’s a long list. Sills is a true individual, a force to reckoned with, and I know once she sets her mind to something, she gets it done. Having her on our city council will benefit everyone.
