Martin “Marty” Anderson, who lived in Latigo Canyon from 1970 to 1985, died Nov. 22.
Marty and his wife Lola designed and built custom stained glass windows in their studio, Anderson’s Stained Glass, during their time in Malibu.
The couple also owned and operated Anderson Palisades Market in the Palisades during that time. In 1981, after losing their home to a wildfire, Mary and Lola retired to Lake Havasu, Ariz. They spent their time boating until they both came out of retirement a few years later to open a gift store and work in real estate.
Anderson is survived by his daughters Jodi Anderson and Lori Stein, his grandchildren Erik Gonzales, Aaron and Sarah Stein, and his great granddaughter Sailor Gonzales.
Memorial services will take place Dec. 4 at Grace Episcopal Church, at 111 Bunker Rd. in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Western Arizona Humane Society, at 1100 Empire Dr. in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
