For months I wrestled with boxes of family historical papers trying to find them a better home than mine.
After fruitless weeks of contacting universities, historical societies and local governments, to no avail, I asked Stuart Goldman, our local librarian for help. He suggested the Library of Congress as the most appropriate, and only, place to call and gave me the contact information, including telephone numbers. It was the perfect advice. A representative from the Library of Congress came to my house and carried away my materials.
Thank you, Mr. Goldman, and my great grandfather thanks you, too.
