Red Carpet Green Dress (RCGD), an ethical fashion campaign, held a celebration pre-Oscars to recognize ethical fashion.
The event featured a presentation from two MUSE School students, Frankie McNulty and Alani Ritter. According to information shared by the campaign, McNulty created Good Soles, a fashion line featuring clothes made of “repurposed cotton and plastic bottles.” Ritter repurposed second-hand clothing to be resold.
“The ability to correct the course of our planet begins with educating our children. Frankie and Alani are just two examples of the hundreds of bright, wonderful MUSE students taking action for the environment, and we are so grateful for the work RCGD has done to make this invaluable education possible for so many,” Suzy Amis Cameron, founder of RCGD and cofounder of MUSE School, said in the statement.
RCGD, in addition to shedding light on sustainable fashion, raises money for the Calabasas school.
