A former Mobile Home Park Rent Stabilization Commissioner needs our help. About four months ago, Sandra Stafford was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is undergoing treatment but is under severe financial strain. She can no longer afford to keep her home while also paying for treatment, doctor visits and prescription drugs.
Sandra pays $1,000 a week to cover medications and her share of hospital and chemotherapy expenses. This will go on for six months. She had to fight her insurance carrier to get minimal coverage. I hope that Malibuites will contribute to a trust account set up by Judge Ralph Erickson (Ret.) at Bank of America. One hundred percent of the funds will go to helping Sandra.
