Class of 2002 Malibu High School graduate and current Santa Monica College sophomore Michael Bailey won last week’s NSSA Gold Coast surfing competition in Santa Cruz. Kelly Jacobson, an MHS junior, placed third at the competition. Both will be competing at the national championship next June in San Diego.
