D’Amore’s Famous Pizza made a soft opening to its second Malibu branch on Friday, Feb. 1 at Point Dume Plaza. The pizza shop opened in the space previously occupied by Point Pizza, which closed in December, and whose sign remains over the entrance. The new D’Amore’s is expected to serve all-natural ingredients. “The public has been supportive, people have been very positive,” manager Juan Cruz said. “There will be a grand opening celebration, but the date is uncertain at this time.”
