Point Dume students compete in spelling bee

Point Dume Marine Science School students competed in a schoolwide spelling bee Monday morning. The primary grades winner was Chloe Rapf, the winner for the intermediate grades was Tallia Efraim and the upper grades and overall winner was Sammy Mankoff. As the overall winner, Mankoff will go on to represent Point Dume at the Los Angeles County Scripps Regional Spelling Bee on Feb. 2.Â
