Californians across the state will be taking to the polls on Tuesday, June 5, for the primary election ahead of the 2018 general election in November.
Here in Malibu, there are no special ballot items appearing on the June ballot, but primaries for the governor’s race (Jerry Brown will be termed out of office this year) as well as other high-profile offices like U.S. senator, U.S. representative, lieutenant governor, attorney general and secretary of state will be taking place.
The deadline to register to vote for next Tuesday’s primary has passed.
LA County residents can check their voter registration status at lavote.net/vrstatus, where they can also find their polling place and see a sample ballot.
Ventura County residents can check voter registration status at bit.ly/VenturaVoterRegistration.
