Superstars David and Victoria Beckham pose with their brood and show the spirit at the annual Sports Spectacular.

Designer mom Victoria Beckham looked posh as ever in her head-turning ensemble, and proud hubby and soccer star David looked just dashing, as they posed with their beautiful brood at the 27th Annual Sports Spectacular at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.

More than 1,600 VIPs, sports legends, entertainers, business, civic and community leaders were on hand to support and raise funds for children suffering from genetic birth defects. Sports Spectacular raised $1.3 million at this year’s event, and has raised more than $22 million to benefit the life-saving work of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Genetics Institute over the years.

Latin Crooner Marc Anthony wowed the crowd by singing the National Anthem, which kicked off the evening’s festivities.

This year’s honorees included NBA star Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Love was shown a whole lotta love as he received his award from Beth Behrs.

Up next was the Super Bowl champion New York Giants, with Michael Strahan presenting the award to Ahmad Bradshaw, who accepted the honor on the team’s behalf. And finally, all-around hunk and soccer superstar David Beckham of the L.A. Galaxy received his top honor from hockey great Wayne Gretzky.

Sports Spectacular was established in 1986 in response to the promise of genetic research leading to the understanding of numerous genetic diseases found in children as well as adults. Since that time, Sports Spectacular has raised about $23 million to benefit the life-saving work of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Genetics Institute. The institute’s focus is to provide expert consultation and cutting edge research to find new and improved methods of diagnosis, prevention and treatment for all types of genetic disorders, including mental retardation, dwarfism, cystic fibrosis, deafness and malformation syndromes, as well as common diseases of adulthood, such as heart disease, hypertension and diabetes. The event also benefits the Sports Spectacular Fellowship Endowment, which supports the training of five research Fellows in various medical fields at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. No question, this evening was filled with a lot of great sports.

Congrats to longtime local Matthew McConaughey and his longtime love Camila Alves. The pretty pair tied the knot in Austin, Texas, treating their guests to a three-day blowout Lone Star style. The couple are the proud parents of three-year-old Levi and two-year-old Vida, with a baby on the way. Pals, including Woody Harrelson and Reese Witherspoon, were on hand and grooved as John Mellencamp sang into the night.
