Three vehicles were involved in a collision on PCH near La Costa Beach around 2 p.m., according to Dept. Defanso with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s station.
Officials responded to the scene shortly after the collision was reported near the 21400 block of PCH, according to Defanso.
Traffic heading westbound was delayed as a witness reported a victim receiving treatment from a Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulance and a badly damaged silver Prius.
Deputies initially blocked one lane of the highway heading westbound to safely move traffic around the accident and allow officials to assess the scene.
“They’ve got it cleaned up and everything is open now,” Defanso said. “All lanes are opened.”
No further information was available about the cause of the accident or any reported injuries. Â
