This week, Malibuites have organized dinners to bring the community together for the Thanksgiving holiday after the devastation caused by the Woolsey Fire.
On Nov. 20, staff members and teachers of Malibu schools are hosting a “friendsgiving” for impacted families and staff at the Santa Monica High School cafeteria from 4-7 p.m.

On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, a number of community organizations—including City of Malibu, Malibu Chamber of Commerce, Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue, Malibu United Methodist Church and Pepperdine University—are hosting a Malibu Strong Community Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Pepperdine University cafeteria. Musician Annie Bosko will be performing. All are welcome, including first responders.
