Malibu High School sophomore varsity basketball player Frankie McGovern broke the school record for most three-point baskets in a season during last Thursday’s first round playoff loss against St. Anthony’s. He had four three-pointers, giving him a total of 60 in the season. This broke Jack Platner’s previous record of 59 from several years ago.
Because McGovern is only a sophomore, he has two additional seasons to attempt to expand on his record.
