After suffering from a mysterious “neurological” disorder for months, Malibu favorite Dick Van Dyke tweeted Thursday that titanium dental implants appear to be the cause of the problem.
“It seems that my titanium dental implants are the cause of my head pounding. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for all your replies” the star tweeted Thursday afternoon.Â
In April, the star admitted he had been dealing with the ailment, but doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong. He assured fans, friends and followers that it was not a terminal illness, “just a pain.”Â
“My head bangs every time I lay down,” he tweeted last month. “I’ve had every test come back that I’m perfectly healthy. Anybody got any ideas?”
The condition forced him to cancel several public appearances, including a trip to New York to receive the first Lifetime Achievement Award for Bettering Humanity Through Comedy from the 92nd Street Y.Â
