The Malibu Film Society confirmed that it will be screening 25 films from now until the holidays for its award season screenings series; at least 10 other films are still pending. The awards season kicks off with a screening of Logan today at 7:30 p.m., which will be followed by a Q&A with actor Sir Patrick Stewart.Â
As of Monday, Nov. 6, MFS will be showing three to four films per week. Admission is free to MFS members, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences members, and film industry guild members. Screenings are, however, open to the public; see malibufilmsociety.org for more details.
