Four Webster Elementary School students were winners in the National PTA Reflections art contest at the Santa Monica-Malibu School District level. They were judged against winners from all other SMMUSD elementary schools. Natasha Rothenbucher won the intermediate category of photography (grades 3-5), Serena Perl won two awards, for visual arts and for literature, in the primary category (grades K-2), and Sasha Savitsky won the intermediate category for literature (grades 3-5). Mira Domberg was awarded honorable mention for film production in the primary category (grades K-2). The first place winners will move forward to be judged by the 33rd District PTA, an umbrella group that includes other PTAs from Los Angeles County.
