Hundreds of people came out to take part in the 14th Annual Topanga Earth Day celebration at the Topanga Community Center last weekend where the Earth Day festivities took place.
At the event, vendors sold an eclectic variety of goods including edible greens, vegan fare, fresh coconut water and solar fried eggs. Children participated in many festivities, such as arts and crafts, face painting and games.
Tents and tipis sheltered festival-goers from sun, while live music and dance groups entertained the crowd on three stages.
A seven-foot paper mache Earth Ball was rolled in at the hands of children from Move The World Dance Activism, a Topanga-based dance group that promotes social causes.
