If we break away from [Southern California] Edison, who will finish replacing dangerous poles, bring in sufficient numbers of emergency crews in case of major fires or earthquakes, quickly repair downed power lines blocking our roads and perform future upgrades? Who will pay for this work and the inevitable lawsuits that would have otherwise involved Edison? What else needs to be considered before another spontaneous decision?
