Letter: Seriously, Edison?


According to its own report, Southern California Edison’s power failures in the population center of Malibu occur at five times their normal rate — and that report was prepared before last week’s seven outages (five of which occurred in our neighborhood).

As customer complaints clearly do not move SCE to address this ridiculous situation, perhaps customer claims will do the job. Anyone who suffered a financial loss as a direct result of one of these outages can file a claim to recover the cost of replacement or repair. 

Just download the claim form. If Edison suddenly receives dozens (if not hundreds) of claims, perhaps they’ll start taking us more seriously.
