MHS Ranks No. 57 in California

In a recently released ranking from U.S. News & World Report, Malibu High School was ranked No. 57 among all California high schools.

MHS ranked at No. 364 among schools around the country and achieved a gold award for college readiness. The school has a 98 percent graduation rate, according to the ranking. In subject proficiency, MHS students overall performed more than 10 percent higher than the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District average and more than 20 percent higher than the California average in reading and math. 

Malibu High was the only school in the district to make the ranking. The U.S. News & World Report releases its “Best High Schools Ranking” annually.
