Malibu Native Named 2015 National Merit Scholar Commended Student

Malibu native Isaac Vandor has been named a 2015 National Merit Scholar Commended Student for “exceptional academic promise,” according to a spokesperson for the program. They chose Vandor based off accomplishments such as his PSAT scores. 

Vandor is a senior at Architecture, Construction and Engineering Charter High School, where he is president of the Flying Aces FIRST Robotics Team. He plans to attend college and pursue a career as a roboticist. He is the first National Merit Scholar Commended Student at his high school.
