Malibu United Methodist Church presented “The Other God Particles” by artist Michael Timothy McAlevey on Saturday evening. Guests enjoyed a potluck dinner prior to the lecture and discussion. McAlevey said, “Sometimes the soul of an artist can know for sure what the mind of a scientist will never understand.” In addition to his thought-provoking lecture, McAlevey illuminated the church with the newest feature to his pieces, glow-in-the-dark paint. His lecture sparked a conversation on science and art.
