The Pepperdine men’s volleyball team won the second installment of the Can Am Challenge with a straight-set sweep over the University of Seskatchewan Huskies on Sunday, Jan. 3. The Waves posted 28-26, 25-23 and 25-17 set wins to secure their victory.
The Waves were led by sophomore Colby Harriman, who posted a career-high 14 kills, and aided the team with 14 serve receptions and one ace. Sophomore David Wieczorek and freshman Michael Wexter each had 10 kills apiece.
The Waves will close out the Can Am Challenge against the University of British Columbia on Jan. 8 before beginning regular season play against Concordia on Jan. 10.
