Over the weekend, residents and visitors complained of overflowing trash bins around the Malibu Colony Plaza, including Malibu Times freelance writer Judy Abel.
“I have never seen this much trash in public in Malibu,” Abel wrote in an email to The Malibu Times.
She went on to say a security guard was notified and the issue was eventually rectified.
