For the past 40 years, many in the community of Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Malibu, Calabasas and Thousand Oaks, became involved with a Santa Come to Agoura and Beyond Food Drive to help those in need.
Through the generosity of monetary donations we have also purchased what they needed—100 percent of all donations are only used to purchase what the following organizations were in need of:
Children of the Night
Battered Women and Children
Victims of Aides, in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties
Leukemia and Cancer wards for children
UCLA, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, USC, Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude’s Hospital
Manna Food Bank
Veteran’s Hospital
Optimist Boys and Girls Home
Rancho San Antonio Boys Home
Adults with Down Syndrome
Brand new sleeping bags for the homeless veterans, men, women and children
Unfortunately, the homeless situation has grown. Many of the men and women who have come back from serving our country are not receiving the help they deserve rather they are homeless.
We also have families falling on hard times due to loss of jobs, loss of their homes due to the fires.
Can you imagine sleeping on extremely cold concrete or living under a bridge?
What we are asking our community at large to make a donation so we can provide brand new sleeping bags, socks and underwear for the homeless.
We receive NO compensation never have and never will.
If you wish to donate, please mail it to Steve Bonifede, in care of Farmers Ins. Co., 30423 Canwood Street, Agoura Hills, 91301, Suite 125 or George Annino, 6602 Maplegrove St., Oak Park, 91377.
If you have any questions, you can reach George at 818.309.6995.
