Body of Woman Found in Malibu Friday Morning

A woman who was found unresponsive alongside Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Friday morning, Oct. 5, was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:50 a.m.

The female, believed to be in her 30s, was found in the 28000 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to Sarah Ardalani from the Los Angeles Coroner’s Department.

Detective Tim Ruggiero with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau confirmed the coroner’s office would be conducting the investigation.

“As far as I know, there’s no indication of foul play or any crime,” Ruggiero said Friday.

The woman, thought to be homeless, was found with a French passport in her belongings, according to information LASD Deputy Mike Treinen gave KBU News Friday.
